Chef Suzette was born and raised in St. Mary, Jamaica—yes, the beautiful island. Growing up in a bustling “big yard” filled with cousins, aunts, and uncles, she was surrounded by the lively atmosphere of family and food. It was in this close-knit environment, where “running a boat” (cooking) was a daily tradition, that her passion for the culinary arts was ignited.
At just 14 years old, Suzette declared, “One day, I’m going to have my own restaurant.” At the time, she didn’t take her own words too seriously, but deep down, that dream planted a seed. Over the years, her love for cooking grew into something undeniable. Cooking became her sanctuary—her safe space and her peace.
Chef Suzette pours her love into crafting vibrant, flavorful dishes rooted in her Jamaican heritage. She specializes in creating authentic Caribbean flavors with natural, wholesome ingredients, all while promoting clean eating. Her menu is a true celebration of island cuisine, featuring favorites like curry goat, jerk shrimp, ackee and saltfish, oxtail stew, and escovitch fish. For those seeking variety, she also offers vegan and vegetarian options, fresh seafood dishes, and other beloved Jamaican classics that capture the essence of her culture and passion.
